Led Zeppelin Rocks Out in Reunion Concert
People of a certain age will remember Led Zeppelin. Surely, you know “Stairway to Heaven.” Well, these guys are in their 50s and 60s now. The band gave a reunion concert last night at London’s O2 arena — the first full concert they’ve given in 27 years — and the word is that they totally rocked. Check out some video from the concert.

That brings back so many memories. I saw them in 1968 or 69 at the Boston Tea Party before they were big. We knew when we saw them that they were going to be great. I saw them half a dozen times after that. I can’t believe how white Jimmy Page is.
I answered your question at Loose Leaf today.

I have never seen them live (well, I was 6 in 1968, so, well, there it is), but I LOVE LOVE LOVE them. If I ever get a cell phone I want the opening of “The Immigrant Song” as my ringtone.

1970 for me, the Denver Auditorium Arena (which no longer exists.)
I love those guys.
Other than Neil Young, they are about the only ones left that I would bother to see in a stadium.

Ah Led Zep… I would’ve given anything to see Kashmir live.
