Another Bigfoot Sighting That Blew Me Away

Apropos of absolutely nothing, I am bringing to you today another amazing Bigfoot sighting. What is my fascination with these tall, hairy, elusive creatures and what do they have to do with baby boomers? I have no idea. But here it is. In the state of Idaho in the fall of 2006, five people, including a man who is a lifelong hunter, reported this:

“My sister, fiance, daughter and nephew said they had seen something off to the side of the road. I stopped and turned around so I could shine the lights from the Bronco on whatever it was. When we got turned around, the lights from the vehicle couldn’t hit it so I decided to step out with a flashlight. When I shined the light on it, it stood up on its hind legs about 30 feet from me. It was standing in a pit and it was at least a foot taller then me. I am 6 feet tall. When I seen it, I started yelling at it and it ducked down. Every time I would stop making noise it would start to raise its head again. When I backed up and got into the Bronco it jumped up and ran after us and chased us quite a ways.”

The man who reported this sighting describes himself as “an avid hunter and fisherman. I have hunted and fished in this area all my life. I have seen elk, deer, antelope, badger and bear. just about everything that has walked, crawled or [swims], and I have never seen anything like what I seen that night. It was bigger than any bear… What we seen that night was not a bear.”

I love stuff like that, too. I’m quite fond of Nessie sightings.
I’ve spent a bit of time at cryptomundo.com, which has Big Foot as well as Nessie footage.

A while back a friend sent a url of a web site that gives locations of bigfoot encounters. I took a look at it and discovered that there was two sightings in this county and we have lived in both of those areas since the sightings occured. Wow….. I guess considering this, we could be mistaken as stalkers of Bigfoot. I joke about it, but I do find myself checking out the woods that surrounds our home looking for the big furry fellow. I don’t dismiss the posisibility of their existance. Anything is possible.

For some reason I have no desire to see Big Foot whatever it is.

  4. Taylor Says:

Why is it always people with terrible grammar who end up running across strange things? Something about reading “When I seen it” makes me so dubious.

  5. Rhea Says:

I think faulty grammar and Bigfoot sightings go hand in hand.

Well Taylor and Rhea…If the beautiful and educated people such as yourselves got out from behind your computers and coffee shops…. Like the lotto, you can’t win if you dont play…If your not looking, or chatting on the cell phone constantly, you wont have a chance of a siting.

Not to mention getting out of the safety of urban sprawl….
