I’ve been married 44 years. Yep, patience. That’s it. This is not a highly prized virtue these days. I sometimes ask myself if patience is that much of a virtue anyway, but here I am, married to the same man after all these years.

I am always amazed at how someone can meet a person at the beginning of their life and the relationship just goes and goes.
