Grave Concerns
It’s Monday, and we’re all back to work. What better time than this to think morbid thoughts?
As a journalist I’ve interviewed a lot of interesting people on a number of unusual topics. I learned once from a young woman who was working at historic Forest Hills Cemetery in my neighborhood of Jamaica Plain that cremation will soon surpass traditional burial as the preferred way to dispose of human remains.
I am lucky to live just a few blocks from Forest Hills. I contacted them and discovered that cremation at Forest Hills will set me back a thrifty $280. You can’t beat that!
