- My talk yesterday on social media went great!
- Ralph Nader spoke in Jamaica Plain last night
- I heard a fabulous concert last night by the young orchestra A Far Cry. Almost all the members live in my Jamaica Plain neighborhood.
- I am going to a Halloween dog costume party this afternoon at the Boston Center for the Arts.
- I will be posting some Halloween pics later this weekend.

I am glad that your talk went so well. I dog costume party sounds like great fun. I look forward to your pictures.

Diana, I had a great time giving the talk and also am glad it’s over. I taught for a little while but it’s not my favorite activity.
Karen Jo: my pics didn’t come out that well. Darn!

Halloween was hideous in our neighborhood in Watertown. ONE kid to our door all night. That was an all-time low. The only possible reason I can think of for such a low turnout is that all of the parents have read my blog and they decided that no amount of candy was worth having their children encounter me.

Sul, it was slow in Jamaica Plain, too. The theory is that since Halloween was on a Sat., there was more time to spread out parties and stuff.
