Those are some really cool predictor sites. Now I’m pine-ing for an eastern fall.

There’s a reason we call autumn “fall” here in the northeast – it does. Fast and furious. Lordy, it’s been cold.

Rhea, thanks for this!!! I’m just spelunking the northeast and have only been out of NYC once on an excursion. With the youngest in her senior year and my own school schedule, things are a tad bit busy!!!!
Luv your tips, your writing, your perspective and your finds, btw.

Well, it’s good to know they are predicting some color. I am here in MA too and was beginning to wonder if we would have a foliage show after all. Seems I see mostly brown and dessicated leaves so far. I see though that my area is due for peak foliage after October 15. Thanks, guess I will have to wait.

Thanks for visiting my site and I saved the “skunk” formula for future reference!
I just returned from an 8 day “leaf peepa” tour to all those states plus Conn. and Rhode Island. It was a beautiful trip, although it wasn’t peak yet. The food was great too!
