I recently stumbled across a really wonderful tale written by a fellow Bostonian. If you have a couple of minutes, read the story; I think you’ll be glad you did. There are some important lessons here for a world in which we often can’t seem to get along.

this is a great story,
I go to jewish gatherings many times a year with my friends, but they know I am either catholic or buddhist.

Wonderful story — thanks for linking to it! The other day, I had some christians in my store. And as and they were talking about God and love and generosity and helping others, I was nodding and agreeing and so on. They departed happy and glad after leaving me a little prayer tract. After they left, my dh teased me for acting like I agreed with them and perhaps letting them thing I was a christian. See, the thing was I did agree with them, and I did not see the point in splitting hairs over the God part.

I read it…and his grandfather did the right thing. I mean really, what did it hurt? I can only see the positives of his grandfather’s actions. Cool story!
