How Baby Boomers Reinvent Themselves
I've Moved! The Boomer Chronicles has closed after 6 years, but you can keep up with me on my new blog at http://www.rheabecker.com
Lots of 40+ people want a big midlife change. I call it a midlife crisis.
There’s a new book that takes a much more positive spin on this subject. Thinking About Tomorrow: Reinventing Yourself at Midlife includes dozens of profiles of midlife people who have ‘remade their lives in fascinating ways’ in the areas of travel, work, family and health.
This sounds like a book I want to read. See the full story at Life Two.

In Australia it is called a “Seachange” because it so often involves a move from a big city to a coastal resort. The famous Grey Nomads also tend to migrate along the coastal parts of Australia.

Archie: Interesting that there is a name for that. I wouldn’t mind moving to a coastal resort here in the U.S. Just not Atlantic City.
Lisa: Me, too.
Susan: My pleasure.

Good stuff, I shall check this book out. For me and my own writings a midlife change is either a crisis or a transition that can be a great adventure, if only you can prepare and know what is coming.
Best wishes
